Celebrating in Thatcher

I have about 3,457 pictures awaiting me to edit and post... they will not all make it.  But, in an effort to remain somewhat caught up, here is a condensed version of our Easter...

We continued forth in our (now) annual tradition of driving up to visit the Merrill family in Thatcher.

And of course, we went shooting.

Porter finally got to shoot his birthday present.

And he was awesome enough to make sure all of his cousins and sisters had a turn with it.

Some did a little skeet shooting,

while I did a little shooting of my own.

And Hannah did a little posing... look at that belly!

We ate lunch out in that dustbowl and the kiddos got a little exploring in while the guns were put away.

For dinner, we headed to (what I consider) our little park.

We barbequed up some burgers and hot doggies.

And had our egg hunt.

And- holy hannah- there was a moment when all of the kiddos were playing awesomley together, so Jessie and I tried to sneak up and get a picture of it...

As it turns out, I have no idea how to take action shots.  So we had them stop and tried to get a picture that way.

Yeah, right.

What a super fun tradition! Easter in AZ is a perfect time to get together. I loved seeing Sharon with her granddaughters. Too cute.
