The Merrill Bunch

The whole shebang- or at least the whole Merrill Family. We took this picture a few weeks ago at Eliana's blessing.
When I asked Piper who these people in the picture were, she looked at me like I was crazy and told me, "They're the Thatcher People, Mom!"

Big-Boy Porter chillin' on the couch, enjoying some alone-time with Mom while his big sisters nap....

We had quite the adventurous week with little Porter. He was up all Thursday night with a screamin' hot fever of 103- ear infection! Then, after being on amoxicillian for two days, Mr. Porter's hands and feet started swelling on Sunday morning. Then, after about 10 minutes, he was covered in a splotchy rash. We were all dressed and ready to head-out to church but ended up making a slight detour at the local ER. Evidently he had a reaction to the antibiotic (the doctor said that it isn't clear whether it was an allergic or synergistic reaction). He's doing better now, but is still rather fussy due to the two teeth that are trying to painfully push themselves out. At least he's not swollen and red anymore!

My First Try...

Okay... so I've decided to try out Blogger, but I'm still not entirely convinced to switch over from MySpace, but I'm giving it an honest shot!!
