Half of a Year

What? Already?!

Yep. My baby is 6 months old (well, technically he's closer to 7 months old now since it took me so long to get these posted).

And, as a nice little elderly lady at church said, "He's a round baby, isn't he?"

Yes. Yes he is.

But he's been doing his push-ups to help strengthen his core.

Phew. That was hard work for him.

Wyatt has been eating. A lot. Oatmeal and apples for breakfast. Green beans for lunch. Rice cereal and squash for dinner. With a few bottles in between.

He's getting ready to crawl, and can already go backwards. Heaven help me when he figures out how to put himself into drive.

Clarky-Boy loves rolling around on the floor with his John Deere teether, talking very loudly to anyone that will listen, being packed around by whoever is available, napping, playing in Nana's swimming pool and his pacifier. He really, really loves his pacifier.

His little gums are swollen down on the bottom where his first little teeth are preparing to break through, and yes, even my perfect little Wyatt has been a little fussy because of this. But I can't complain, since his "fussy" is a normal baby's good day.

Honestly, this post has mostly been about me posting pictures of this boy. So if you aren't nearly as infatuated with this child's face as I am, I fear you will find it quite a boring one.

Phineas & Ferb

These boys sure do love a little Disney cartoons.

the 4th

**Orrin and I spent 30 minutes trying to get a pic of all 4 kiddos smiling at the camera, and this is the best we got.**

On Independence Day, we got up early (and everyone was just so thrilled... and by everybody, I mean OP) and went to see Cars 2.

Honestly, it was kinda disappointing. But the kids liked it and we got to eat popcorn for breakfast, so it wasn't a total waste.

Ain't this baby the cutest? 'Cause I think he is!

Orrin had to work early the next day, so he stayed home with lil' Wyatt while the rest of the kids and I went with mi familia to Rustler's Rooste. This place was super awesome, but I think I want to go back when it's not a holiday (and probably without the chillens) to fully enjoy.

**And a tip: he kiddos eat free, but their drinks cost as much as an adults. I didn't know this**

It was a cowboy steak house, and the atmosphere was terrific.

Awwww...

They had a live country band there with dancing. Luckily we brought along Aunt Whit to get out there and shake it!

This is my big bro Zach... look how his and his lil' baby Nola's expression match!

I thought that these carrots were the coolest.

We were going to watch the fireworks from the porch on the restaurant, but there was a ton of people and it was sweltering, so we watched about 4 different shows from the freeway on the way home!

Two little monkeys...

Aww, look at these two sweeties peeking out from amongst the branches!

Wait a minute....

*grab the camera, shoot a picture*

Adison Nae and Piper Pauline, you get down from that tree NOW!

And that's how that went.

***And yes, our tree is in dire need of a trim, but we're just renting, so... eh.***

Another Introduction...

Remember this introduction a few years back? Probably not, but it left quite a mark on little Porter-Pot.

And then this happened the other day:

Yep, he and the cement became good buddies again.

Oh, and notice the scar on his eyebrow? Yeah, this poor kid's face is gonna look good by the time he graduates from high school.
