Naming

You may have been wondering where Wyatt Clark's name came from.

Or you might not. Either way, I'm going to tell you. Feel free to just glance at the pictures and skip the reading.

It's really your choice.

Anywho, Orrin and I have generally agreed on baby names pretty easily in the past. I generally came up with them and OP generally agreed. Nice system, right? Of course, there were names he vetoed (Kennedy for both girls and Radley for Porter), and he had some names I flatly refused (Natalie for the girls and Orrin Junior for both boys- yes I am serious).

And all of the kiddos have shared their middle name with a grandparent.

Adison Nae (my mom).
Piper Pauline (OP's grandma a.k.a Nanny)
Porter Grant (he got a 2fer- Porter is Orrin's middle name and Grant is after my grandpa)

And then came #4.

We're pretty darn sure this is our last one, so we both became a bit stubborn.

He wanted Paxton, I wanted pretty much any other name I could find. I really was digging the Tombstone-ish sound and did more than a few google searches for "Western Names".

I decided I liked Emmet (OP said no since it was the name of a vampire from Twilight) and Orrin still dug his heels in on Paxton. And then came the middle name. I wanted it after my family, Orrin wanted it after his.

And so we decided to call a draw. We met in the middle. Orrin agreed to one of my western names if I agreed to his choice in middle name.

The contract was drawn up and signed (just kidding... or am I?).

Thus came the name Wyatt Clark. Clark is OP's grandfather's middle name (and his little brother Heber's).

Papa was a citrus farmer, and so I decided to make Junior an orange onesie. And matching blanket.

And yes, I am aware that it looks more like a peach than an orange, but what do you do?

That's awesome. I never knew until now why you made a onesie with an orange on it.
