And Finally,

The last post about Porter's birthday.

Yes, yes I know.  Waaay too much.  But hey, I like to celebrate the beginning of my children's lives, ok?

Anywho, we had his construction birthday party at the park.  Because the kids can run wild and don't require a lot of planned activities, that's why.

And yes, I was totally awesome and just text these out to everyone.

Thanks goes to my official birthday decorating assistant, Whitney.

Why construction rubber duckies as a party favor?  Because they were super cheap on Amazon.

As a warning, I didn't get very many pictures.  The sun was setting pretty low for most of the party, so everything came out too dark or blurry :(

We ate some Little Ceaser's $5 pizza (is there any other kind?).

Did I mention that Porter spent the day with his Daddy at the Off Road Racing Series?  Yeah, they were both pretty burned and tired by the time the party started.

We broke out the one and only planned activity: the pinata.  I had a hard time convincing Orrin to hold the stick with the pinata tied to the end.  We've been watching a lot of AFV lately and that show is full of unsuspecting Dads, holding up a pinata and receiving a solid hit from a child.

He finally agreed and the kids got to swinging.

 All the party peeps.

And yes, the caution tape is part of the decorations.

Singing of the song and blowing of the candles.

Yes, those are cake pops.

Let's not forget the presents.

Thanks to the fam that came out and celebrated this boys birthday with us!
