We have a tradition 'round here: Mommy decorates the kitchen the night before everyone's birthday (except her own).
It is what Adi looks most forward to the night before her birthday.
I think she reminded me to do it about 58 times. In one hour.
Anywho, here is what the counter top looked like...
I discovered that I am not so good at making the oh-so-simple tissue paper flowers. But that could be because I didn't start decorating until 9 pm.
And if you know me, you know that my brain shuts off at 8 pm sharp.
No exceptions.
I also had to stay up a bit late (for me) making what Adi requested for breakfast:
They didn't turn out perfect. Mostly because I was rushing to get them done so I could get to bed...
She also wanted a donut cake.
Yup, I said donut cake.
Thanks to my good friends at Dunford for making this sickly-sweet lovely happen.
Aww, my baby is seven!
And now I must get back to preparing for her friend party tomarrow.
Overboard?
Yup. It sure is.
