I have developed acute camera laziness (it could totally be a real disease)

Because of this self-diagnosis, I have been using my handy-dandy camera phone much more often.

I am also in love with Instagram.  You really should join, if you've been living under a rock and have yet to do so.  The filters are so much fun to play with.  And I'm sure that everyone who follows me, loves seeing me post 239 pictures of my children daily.

**Courtthesnort if you want to see the many, many annoyingly adorable pictures of my kiddos**

Anywho, here's a few of the pictures I've had tucked away on my phone, just waiting to be shared with a captive audience.

Mostly, we've been living.  Birthday parties, swimming with friends, garage sales, doctor visits, parks, chores, shopping, eating out, playing, hanging out at home, reading, Kindergarten Night...

Just the boring day to day stuff.  Yet I like to document this stuff because soon these things will change.  What is now this family's norm will fade to photos filed away on Snapfish, and I'll be wrapped up in whatever comes next (teenagers, *shudder*).  Someday when I am feeling nostalgic, I'll open up this old blog of mine and take a jog down memory lane (because who will have time for a leisurely stroll?)  I can remember when Piper had time to notice fat caterpillars in a Hobby Lobby parking lot.  Or when Adi was willing to curl up on our laps.  I'll smile when I remember playing Bad Guys with Porter and Wyatt insisting on brushing his baby teeth with every single one of his siblings' toothbrushes.

I'm sure that I'll forget the stress of bringing all four kids to church alone (thanks to OP's spectacular work schedule), how tired I felt 99% of the time (or does this feeling fade before you kick the kids out of the house?), how I had a mini-panic attack every time I had to bring Wyatt to the pool before he learned how to swim.

So, there.  That's my excuse for always taking pictures.  For the everyday memories, not just the special occasion ones.

And, because I am feeling quite quotey and reminiscent today, here's a goody from President Uchtdorf:

BOOM!  I just made you think right there, didn't I?

And, just to really pile it on you, here's a most excellent Mormon Messages video:

**And yes, I did notice that I have a double of one of the pictures on the montage.  But by the time I did see it, I was much too lazy to do anything about it**

Yes, the day-to-day moments are the ones we will always remember. You always catch such good photos on instagram.
