On the morning of Porter Pot's birthday, he looked like this:
Ain't he cute, bedhead and all?
He opened his presents (Mom and Dad had already given him his bike, so he had a little skid steer to open) on top of the table.
His awesome sisters gave him this sweet letter:
Aww, such good sissies!
For our Birthday-Person-Gets-To-Choose-Every-Single-Stinking-Meal-On-His/Her-Birthday Tradition, Porter-Pot chose pancakes.
Really? You can get Mom to make you cinnamon rolls and you're choosing pancakes? Fine, fine. It's your choice.
Of course, I put a birthday spin on them.
Yeah he liked 'em.
So did Wy-Fi.
For lunch we went to Peter Piper Pizza for a pizza eating, Sprite drinking, and game playing frenzy! We went with Nana, Whit & Chris, and Aunt Stacey & Savannah. Audra and awesomely fun Kyson and Brigdon met us there.
By this time Porter was t.i.r.e.d. So he went to Nana's house and took a much needed nap while Mom brought over all the fixings for his dinner-of-choice. Fried Chicken Salad.
Honestly, that's what the kid chose.
And his choice for dessert?
Doughnut cake!
So stinking easy! I love it!
And so easy to cut ;)
Whit, let me get a pic of you and Wyatt.
Ummm... nevermind!
We're so glad that Aunt Stacey and Nana were here to help celebrate Porter's 5th birthday!
