Tonight we broke out the crayons and plain white paper (to let the kiddos create to their hearts' content- not because Mom was too tired to run to Hobby Lobby to pick up pretty Christmas stationary).
The kiddos printed out their own "Dear Santa" headers on the computer with their choice of font and colored away.
Seriously, this was tough work.
Porter wrote his own this year!
Piper, in her usual precise fashion, spent over 30 minute making hers.
Awwww.
How could Santa not bring it to her even though it's a $35 Barbie with bad reviews?
And Adi had to redo hers.
Her first letter forgot to say "please" and might have started with the statement "I want".
And what was Mr. Wyatt doing while we were creating?
Running and sucking on any dropped crayons. Yep, not a single decent shot of this little man. Adi wrote his letter for him.
Wanna see, Wyatt? No? Allrighty.
Look at these kids. They make my heart smile.
And my face.

I love all of those letters! Piper's Santa picture reminds me of something I would have drawn.
