While we are all very excited to be back in Arizona with most of our families, we are missing Utah. Especially at this time of the year. Ok, ok, it is nice to be able to leave the house without putting on 52 layers of clothes, but it just doesn't seem like Christmas without the snow.
The local mall has a Santa Lane thingy going on where they promise to have snow falling every half hour. Well, how could I say no to that? Even if it means taking all four kids to the mall very close to bed time by myself while OP is working? Well, now I can see how I could have said no to that...
Anywho, we met up with the Lopez side of the family (yay for Peyton visiting... oh, and her mom and dad too) over there.
Peyton and Wyatt were very exited to hang out together...
Or they couldn't have cared less.
Well, honestly, the whole thing was a bit underwhelming. Santa was there and anyone was welcome to sit on his lap, but you couldn't take your own picture with him. Nope, they wanted you to pay for their picture packages (and starting at $24 for one pic? What a steal). That's ok though, since Porter wouldn't sit on his lap again since he's already done that (pics to come later, promise).
But then the snow began,
Alright, so maybe it was just bubbles, and little-miss-eight-going-on-17 acted entirely unimpressed (she has, after all, played in the real stuff),
it was still pretty magical.
Wyatt LOVED it.
He kept walking around in circles, looking up at the ceiling, trying to figure out what the heck was going on. He also kept falling over from looking up while walking.
By the way, it was really, really, unbelievably difficult to get a decent picture of the kids when they were running around in the "snow".
